MAY 20th | LIVE COURSE | 13 SESSIONS

Why this course?

At the initiation stage, young players are building the foundations that will shape how they understand the game for the rest of their development.

But many youth environments still train players through isolated exercises, disconnected content, or sessions that are not clearly adapted to the players’ age and learning needs.

The result is common: players repeat actions, but they do not always understand when, why, or how to use them in the game.

“Do not just train young players to execute actions. Teach them to understand the game.”

At Ekkono, we have spent more than 20 years helping clubs, academies, and federations around the world develop smarter players through a methodology based on perception, decision-making, and game understanding.

This course brings that methodology into the initiation stage, from U6 to U13.

Across 13 live sessions of 90 minutes, plus an introductory Session 0, you will learn how to plan the full initiation stage, design age-appropriate training exercises, and coach the key concepts behind the Basic Fundamentals.

By the end of the course, you will have a clear framework to organize youth development, correct players more effectively on the pitch, and build a game model adapted to their age, level, and learning process.

Creating Superiority in Inner Spaces

Creating Superiority in Inner Spaces

Watch this webinar to learn how to generate numerical superiority in inner spaces. Understand how professional teams manage interior zones, identify where advantages can appear, and adapt inner-space occupation according to different game systems.

WEBINAR + 30 DAYS MEMBERSHIP | 8.99

WEDNESDAY

MAY 13th

In this webinar, we analyze how teams can generate numerical superiority in inner spaces to progress, create advantages, and attack with more clarity.

We begin by studying why interior zones are so important in modern football and how the best teams use them to accelerate the game, attract opponents, and break defensive structures.

We will then focus on the key principles coaches need to understand when managing inner spaces: where the advantages can appear, which players can contribute to occupying those spaces, and how the team’s own system can condition the way these situations are created.

Special attention will be given to practical strategies that help teams occupy and exploit interior zones more effectively. You will learn how to adapt the management of inner spaces depending on different game systems, both your own and the opponent’s, and recognize how these structures influence the creation of superiorities.

Using real match examples from professional teams, we will connect theory with real tactical behavior and present concrete solutions that coaches can apply directly in their own teams and training environments.

By the end of the session, you will have a clearer framework to generate numerical superiority in inner spaces and use it to improve ball progression, attacking continuity, and collective decision-making.
